Kelly Belly-33 weeks

How Far Along:  33 weeks!

Size of Baby: she is the size of a pineapple!  She weighs a little over 4 pounds!

Maternity Clothes: of course...

Weight Gain:    +3 pounds in the last two weeks so that is +25 total

Sleep: it is ok...better it seems this week.  Last night I had a stretch where I slept for 3 hours without waking up!

Best Moment of the Week:  my shower on Saturday!  It was so much fun.  I have the best girlfriends EVER!  I am going to do a post just on the shower but here is a little preview pic :)

Movement yes.  She moves quite a bit!  I absolutely love it and I know I am going to miss it so much.

Symptoms The only thing new this week is that some of my BH contractions seem stronger.  Not all of them just every now and then I get one that hurts a little.  I have been using this as an opportunity to practice my breathing.

What I Miss:  nothing at all.  Well, I guess I miss being well groomed.  It is just almost impossible to shave my legs or trim my "girly parts" ;)  I would get a wax but everything is just so sensitive!  I need to figure something out pretty soon!

Food Cravings/Aversions: My mom's friend made some sweet/hot pickles and gave me a huge jar.  THEY ROCK!!!  I can't stop eating them.  We are thinking bout having a pickle party.  Everyone brings the stuff to make the pickles and we chat and drink wine.  Of course no wine for me :)

Gender: princess Blakely who I just love so much!

What I'm Looking Forward to Husband is off this week so we are going to install the car seat bases, put the swing together and organize a few areas of our house.  First up tonight is cleaning out the freezer and refrigerator!

Weekly Wisdom: Please don't tell a pregnant girl her face looks puffy.  I was telling someone THAT ASKED about my finger joint pain and she interrupted me and said oh that's just swelling...I can tell you are swelling because your face is puffy.  Um ok?  Gee thanks!

Milestones:   I had another appointment today and everything is still looking great.  I go back in two weeks and then I will go back weekly.  I can't believe we are getting so close!

We also finished up our childbirth classes last night.  Check that off of the list!

Here is the belly!
sorry for the weird look in this pic!  Not sure what I was doing?!?

Kelly Belly-32 weeks

How Far Along:  32 weeks!  Only 8 more weeks left!!

Size of Baby: she is the size of a large jicama...I'm not sure I know what that is but I am going to look when I go to the store later!

Maternity Clothesof course

Weight Gain:  +22 lbs. total.  I think that I have gained another pound this week but I don't go back to the doctor until next week.

Sleep: same ol' same ol'.  When I am asleep I seem to be sleeping really hard.  I just wake up a lot.  It is getting pretty painful to turn over at night.  I am having a hard time waking up in the mornings...especially this morning because it is storming!

Best Moment of the Week:  I got my hair cut and highlighted!  It has been a really long time and I am so glad I did it.  It takes about 3 1/2 hours to do my hair because I have sooooo much (probably why I don't get it done all the time) but it is totally worth it!

I can tell my husband is getting really excited for her to be here.  Yesterday afternoon when he got off work and while I was getting my hair done he texted me to tell me that he liked her bedskirt that came in yesterday.  He just randomly goes in her room to check it out...isn't that sweet?

We finished our 4th childbirth class, only one more left.  I think when we finish it up I will do a whole post on that experience.

We did a lot of work on my husband's office/man room this weekend and it is really coming along.  There is not much left to do in there and I can't wait to get it finished and show y'all before and after pictures!

I found out in the past two weeks that two of my best friends are pregnant!!!!  One is due in March and the other one is due in April.  When we got pregnant I always told my husband that I wished at least one of my close friends would get pregnant also but I didn't think it would happen.  So this is super exciting news!  Someone in my real life that is going to have a baby close to Blakely's age!!!!

Also, on a random note, my friend A (who just did IVF and got severe OHSS) is pregnant with twins!  She got her drain tube out of her stomach and is feeling tons better....except major morning sickness :(  I am so glad things are working out for her....it was a little scary for a while.

Movement YES!  Baby hiccups are pretty awesome.  She seems to be getting those more and more.

Symptoms I am feeling a little better this week.  I was pretty grumpy last week.  I am still irritable but just not as bad...I think ;)

I am still somewhat nauseated...just like I was at about 8 weeks.  It can be hard sometimes to find something that sounds good to eat.  Thankfully this is not all day...it is either in the morning or at night.

I do have two brand new symptoms to report this week.  The first one I had never even heard of.  About a week ago I started noticing that the joints in my fingers were really sore when I would wake up in the morning.  I didn't think anything of it...just thought maybe I was clenching my fists in my sleep or something.  After a few days it was progressively getting worse.  I mentioned it to my husband and he seemed a little worried.  Little backstory here.  About 3 years ago I started having joint pain and swelling in my ankles.  It got really bad to the point that he would have to carry me to the shower in the mornings.  Then my knees started hurting also.  I went to the doctor and they checked me for all sorts of things but found nothing.  This lasted about 3 months and then started to get better on its own.  They decided it was some sort of virus and that I shouldn't have any more problems.  I was so glad when it went away because I thought I had lupus or rheumatoid arthritis or something!

OK back to my story....so when I told Lonnie about the finger joint thing he said he hoped I wasn't starting to get what I had three years ago.  I hadn't even thought of this and it freaked me out!  I told him to google it right then (I was driving!).  He did and APPARENTLY it is a common pregnancy symptom to get around 30ish weeks.  Something about the DHA and calcium.  Isn't that weird?  I have started getting a little more calcium just to make sure baby girl is getting enough and not stealing all of mine but my fingers still hurt.  They do get a little better during the day.  WEIRD RIGHT???

The other new symptom this week is I had a random nosebleed.  We were sitting here eating dinner and I felt something splash on my lip and hello! it was blood!  Not super cool but the worst part was it seemed like most of it was going down the back of my throat and not out of my nose....which tastes disgusting and makes you want to puke.  Really hope I don't get anymore of those.....

What I Miss:  nothing this week!

Food Cravings/Aversions: just still pretty nauseous and want to eat fruit....breakfast, lunch, and dinner....

Gendera sweet little girl :)

What I'm Looking Forward to my first shower is this weekend and I am so excited!

Weekly Wisdom: fresh out of wisdom this week...

Milestones:   32 weeks!  I feel like the countdown is on.  My husband told me that I need to go ahead and pack our hospital bag...isn't that crazy!  I can't believe we are getting that close.

And my belly pic!

Kelly Belly-31 weeks

How Far Along:  31 weeks!!!  We are seriously getting close!

Size of Baby:  When we scanned her last week she weighed 3 lbs and 11 oz and was measuring a week ahead of schedule.  Way to go Blakely :)

Maternity Clothes: of course ;)

Weight Gain:  I haven't gained any weight the past two weeks so still +22 total.

Sleep: pretty terrible.  I toss and turn trying to fall asleep.  Then I fall asleep and wake up about two hours later and can't go back to sleep.  I finally start sleeping well at about 5:30 and then either my husband's alarm goes off at 6ish or I have to get up around 8 anyway.

I am exhausted today and can't wait for the lady that cleans my house to be finished so I can go crawl back in the bed.  I am off work all week.  I did this so I could get lots of stuff done around the house but I am not doing anything today...seriously...going back to bed....

Best Moment of the Week:  Blakely's furniture was delivered and I love it so much!  It is perfect and looks wonderful with her green walls.  Now we just wait for the bedding :)

I bought a new Dyson vacuum cleaner and it is FANTASTIC!!!  Seriously....what a great purchase.  I researched a lot.  I wanted to get the best one for pet hair.  One of our dogs, the jack russell, sheds like a maniac and it has started to drive me insane.  So, I had the carpets and upholstery cleaned last week and then bought the vacuum cleaner.  I got the DC25 Animal.  They have a bigger one just like this one that has a bigger canister but I thought it would be too heavy.  We have a two story house (18 carpeted steps) so I wanted something that was easy to carry also.  I think this will make me vacuum more....my husband does not agree ;)

I had my 4D ultrasound done this week and it was super fun.  The main reason it was fun is because I got to see my little girl...she is getting chunky!!  I was worried that she would not cooperate because she has hidden her face most of the time.  But she let us get a little peek and she's so cute!

The other reason it was great is because I got to catch up with my friend Lynne...we worked together for years but she got another job last year so I don't see her as much.  We keep up through FB and text.  We also play fantasy football together so hopefully I will see her more during the season.

Speaking of fantasy football our draft is tomorrow and I AM EXCITED.  I feel like fantasy football needs its own post so I will do one later this week.

Movement yes...all the time.  She moves so much that if she takes a break I start to get worried!  I love just sitting here and watching my belly jiggle.

Symptoms  hmmmmm.....let's see
reflux is here :(
exhaustion
pee all the time...if I don't pee right when I feel the urge I start having BH contractions...
low back pain if I have been up for a while
OH and I am a hormonal bitch...just ask my husband....
Did I mention that I am tired?  This does not help the bitch in me....

***I do feel a little better today...not near as unpleasant to be around :)***

What I Miss:  I do not miss anything and I love being pregnant....I do wish I could sleep but that is because I am running on about 2 hours of sleep right now and I AM CRANKY!

Food Cravings/Aversions: I am so super nauseous right now it is not even funny.  I am having reflux and I am nauseated.  I think if I did throw up right now it would burn a hole in my esophagus....not cool but I am used to this...had it before I got pregnant.

Besides that the only thing that still sounds good to eat is fruit...which is weird.

Gender: princess Blakely :)

What I'm Looking Forward to Dr appt tomorrow...will update this post before I publish it
***went to the dr and everything was great.  He checked my cervix again since I have been feeling pretty crappy the past couple of days and having a lot more contractions.  All was well there and I go back in 2 weeks***

Hopefully getting the bedding in in the next 2 weeks

Being off this week and getting some stuff done around the house.

My first shower is coming up soon...I need to find something to wear.

I also need to schedule some maternity pictures...

Weekly Wisdom: If you feel like you need to lay down...DO IT!

Milestones:   hitting 31 weeks!  Also, getting her furniture feels like a milestone...her room now actually looks like a baby room!

Here is the belly this week..
