Go Patriots!

Just dropping in on a Sunday to say GO PATRIOTS!

This pic was taken 2 Sundays ago during the AFC Championship game but we will be rocking the same gear today.  The only difference is the belly size!

Y'all know I love me some Patriots.  Which is weird since I live in Arkansas and every other human here is a Cowboys fan.  But not these girls!  In this house we cheer for the Pats.  We are all pumped for the game.  And the food.  Excited for that too.

Let's bring home the win boys!  And as Blakely would say....GOOOOOO TOM BABY!  LET'S WIN THE TOMABALL GAME!  :)

Because errrbody loves a bullet post...

  • I went to the gym this morning for the first time in 2 months.  After Sarah's wedding I just sort of bummed out, got lazy and ate everything in sight.  I have to say...it was awesome!  Ha!  But my clothes are getting a wee bit snug and I am feeling yuck so I knew it was time.  Gah, it felt great to be back there and to sweat.
  • Speaking of Sarah, she said I could steal (is it still stealing if I asked her?) a bunch of pictures from her FB of the wedding and post them here.  SO I will work on that because seriously...it was awesome.
  • Did y'all watch the Super B.owl?  What an awful game!  I mean the Seaha.wks did amazing but I like it when the games are close, ya know?  Anyway, my cousin lives in Boulder CO, and is a huge Broncos fan.  She bought B a Mann.ing jersey for Christmas so I let her wear it yesterday.  No we are not cheating on Tom...but if it couldn't be Tom we were sure hoping Ma.nning could get that ring.  Boo.

  • I did lose a bet to this same cousin 2 weeks ago when the Pats and the Broncos played.  So I will be sporting a Broncos bathing suit cover up to the beach every day on our beach trip in May.  Awesome...
  • I'm pretty sure a lot of my readers also read Bridget's blog but if you haven't you should be checking it out right now.  Seriously, now.  She has been doing some awesome research on essential oils and since she mentioned it to me I have too.  I bought a starter kit and have been using them for about 5 days or so.  I'm loving them!
  • I got sick (again!) on Friday and was completely miserable Saturday.  On Saturday the only time I didn't feel like death is after I would do my little concoction of oils.  It was the only relief I could get.  I was using peppermint, breathe and lavender.  I would inhale them and then rub them on my chest.  Then I would also put a dab on my sinuses and it would relieve some of the intense sinus pressure and sinus headache I was having and my nose would immediately start running trying to get that junk out of there.  I did the same thing every couple of hours.  I was amazed actually.  I've been putting the OnGuard on Blakely and Lonnie so hopefully they won't catch what I had.  So far so good.
  • We have taken Blakely out of MDO for a couple of weeks.  A few kids had the flu there and I just didn't want to risk her getting it.  I don't have to go to work or anything so she doesn't HAVE to go.  I would feel terrible if she did get sick just so I could grocery shop alone, ya know?
  • Can spring just get here?  I am so tired of the germs and the sickies and the cold.  I am sure all of you are as well.
  • We are on day 8 of 20 days in a row of Lonnie working.  So far it hasn't been pretty.  Not only has he had crazy full days with difficult cases but he had a busy weekend and has had to go back to the hospital at night a few times on call.  It isn't fun but he is off a week at the end so I am focusing on that.  Focusing on that...  I'll stop complaining about that now.  Sorry.
  • Speaking of work.  My friend that manages a clinic close to my house and who I also went to ultrasound school with mentioned that they may have a PRN ultrasound job at the clinic.  I think I may be interested.  I need to know more.  What I do know is there would be no call and no weekends (I wouldn't even consider a job that did at this point).  Clinic hours and I could possibly make that work with MDO hours and with Juanet's help.  I'm thinking about it.
  • I just got my blog book in the mail.  I get it printed every year and I love having all my posts all in one place.  I can't stop flipping through it.  So many things I already forgot about.
  • I am devouring books on my iPad.  You guys have any good book suggestions?  I'm not picky...I read all types of books.  Bring it!
  • Now that is a whole lot of random.  Happy Monday!  I'm off the eat the rest of the dips I made for the game last night.

I just need to ramble.

Life seems to have kicked into high gear here lately.  We have many things going on and I just haven't been able to find the time to blog.  Here are some quick notes.

  1. Blakely turns 2 next Sunday.  We are having her party at our house just like last year.  Most of my free time (I have free time?) has been spent getting things ready for that.  I am not even close but it will be fun anyway.  I can't wait to share with y'all!
  2. Lonnie and I had our 6 year anniversary yesterday.  He's my man.  I love him.  I won't get all mushy but just know that he took me to Buff.alo Wi.ld Wings yesterday so I could watch football without an *almost* 2 year old on screaming at me at the top of her lungs.  He loves me.  Good man, that one.
  3. I can't lie, Blakely has been kicking my ass the past 2 weeks.  Apparently someone told her that she was the boss.  She is not the boss.  She does not understand this.  The other day I told her that Mommy was the boss and that meant that she had to do what mommy told her to do.  Her exact words, "NOOOOOO!!!! Blakely Boss!!!"  Then she proceeded to chant that while throwing wet wash cloths out of the bath tub.  I am very scared.
  4. I have some serious mommy guilt going on.  Lately B has been much more difficult to put to bed.  Or just much more difficult in general?  Anyway, I mentioned a while back that she is super attached to me.  Well this means that she doesn't want anyone else to put her to bed.  So I do it most every night.  Which is fine.  But NOW she will not let me leave the room.  She wants me to stand there and hold her hand while she falls asleep.  If I walk out of the room she gets hysterical.  Not just normal crying.  I'm talking sobbing, coughing, gagging, holding her breath hysterics.  Now, let me just tell you that a part of me, and not a small part, wants to jump in that bed with her and hold her sweet little hand all night long.  Deep down I know I don't want to get into that routine so I try my best to comfort her in other ways.  But I mean really.  The child just wants to touch me while she falls asleep.  It is the sweetest thing ever and It is breaking my heart to not do that every night.  Last night I slept in her room.  Tonight I will try not to.
  5. I have 1,000 things I should be doing other than blogging right now.  My carpets are being cleaned as we speak and I am supposed to be doing laundry and cleaning the kitchen.  I hate carpet, by the way, and can't wait for the day when we get rid of it all!
  6. My mom and I took Blakely with us to the craft fair this weekend.  I looooooove going to the Arts and Crafts Fair.  My aunt used to have a booth where she sold hand painted signs so I've been going since I was little.  I got some cute stuff but we didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked.  It was like 100% humidity so we were worn out after a while.  I've gotten B some adorable knit hats there the past 3 years and I may have gone overboard this year.  Oops.
  7. I am in 2 fantasy football leagues.  It is getting hard to keep up with them both.  BUT in the one with all the boys I am 5-0!  Kicking ass and taking names!  Oh and the name of my team is A Woman Among Boys.  LOL!  In the other league with just my girlfriends I am doing ok....need to step it up though!
  8. Must.  Go.  Do.  Laundry.
  9. Happy Monday!!!!!

Just a random Wednesday

Linking up with Megan today for a bunch of randomness!

  • You want to know what is embarrassing?  Having to go to the doctor and have your ear cleaned out because it is impacted with wax.  Yesterday morning when I was using a q-tip {I know} all of the sudden my ear just sealed up and I could not hear a thing.  I took B to school and then went and worked out hoping it would get better.  No.  It was driving me so crazy that I couldn't even wait for Lonnie to get home with some utensils to clean it out himself.  Off to the doctor I went.  My doctor cleaned it out and it felt amazing.  It was totally disgusting and I wanted to die when I saw what he got out of there but I was so happy even though I was embarrassed.  And then all of the sudden I was not happy....I was insane dizzy.  Like almost fell off of the table dizzy.  Apparently shooting water that is too cold in your ear causes vertigo.  So I sat there for about 10 minutes trying to get back to normal.  I can't tell you how weird it was to be so so dizzy but not nauseated.  I have vowed to never use a q-tip again.  Oh how I will miss them though...
  • B is going to school 2 days a week now {which is why I am able to blog in the middle of the day...yay!}.  She loves it and I love that she loves it.  She woke up this morning chanting her teachers names.  I think she probably dreamed about them and school all night...ha!
  • When I picked her up yesterday this is what she did all the way home.  Non-stop.  I think they talked about letters at school?!
  • I have no idea what to do with myself when she is gone.  I am literally able to do things around the house that used to take me hours when she was here with me.  For example, I paid bills this morning in less than 30 minutes.  That used to be an all day process full of interruptions and toddler "helping".  I am so much more productive and when she does get home I am able to focus on her instead of trying to do other things during my time with her.
  • Ok.  I am saying it.  She is potty trained.  The last time she wore a pull up was on our trip to Pittsburgh.  She did well the whole trip but did have a wet pull up a few times.  But she wasn't scared to go potty in the airport, on the airplane or at Bridget's house.  She even showed off her potty skills to Emily!  It was pretty cute.  I was nervous about her regressing on the trip and once we got home but she hasn't.  So I ditched the pull ups and we are panties full time now.  Even at school and she has stayed dry.  I do not miss cloth diaper laundry!!! {fingers crossed this doesn't jinx us!}
  • I finally decided on a theme for B's 2nd birthday party.  I am excited about it after not being able to get that way for a while.  I think I am going to do a Sunday afternoon party that is a little more low key.  The Saturday of her birthday weekend the Razorbac.ks play at home so I wanted everyone to be able to go to the game {3 hours away}.  And if I do Sunday afternoon then I don't have to have as much food so maybe it will be less stressful?
  • I still haven't gotten my refund for our last IVF.  I was supposed to get a check in the mail soon after I spoke with the nurse about it.  Well, that was 6 weeks ago.  To say we are frustrated would be an understatement.  They have had plenty of time.  Lonnie is calling today and demanding answers.  He is doing it and not me because 1) I would probably cry and 2) they will be way more scared of him (I hate confrontation and am terrible at it anyway).
  • Y'ALL.  This is the most important bullet in this post.  NFL football starts tomorrow!!!  OMG.  You know I love me some football and I may be a *little* obsessed with fantasy football.  I am in 2 leagues this year.  The one with all of my girlfriends that we do every year and then another one with some people Lonnie works with.  I used to work with them too so I know most of them.  There is only one other girl in that league so I named my team A Woman Among Boys.  HAHA!  I am seriously so excited and I will try not to talk about it on every post.  Unless you want!  Who do you root for?  Do you hate football?  Lonnie hates it but I think it is mainly because I love it so much.  He is more of a baseball guy.  :)
Happy day before the NFL season starts!

I wish we could do that every weekend.

Recently I mentioned that my little family was going on a little trip to see another little family.  And this past weekend we did it!  Lonnie, Blakely and I packed up and headed to Pittsburgh to see Bridget, Steve, Emily and Gavin!

Bridget and I have been super close for the longest.  It all started when we went through IVF together and got pregnant with our miracle babies.  That was almost 3 years ago.  It was time to meet for realzz.

We had been talking about planning some sort of trip for a while but it just never would work out quite right.  When our last IVF failed, I told Lonnie that the next time he was off we were going.  End of story.  I needed it and Bridget did too.  He said ok (didn't even question it!) and I booked the trip!

I have never met a blogger before and, to be honest, I wasn't nervous.  I mean, it was Bridget.  We text every day.  But when you tell other people (who don't know you have a blog) that you are going to Pittsburgh to meet someone you met on the internet, well, you get some funny looks.  And some c.atf.ish comments...HA!

Anyway, we flew out on Thursday and I won't even tell you about our day of traveling.  You don't want to know.  I will say that we got up at 5 that morning (for a 10 o'clock flight) and were supposed to get to our hotel at 3 and then head over to Bridget's house.  We ended up getting to our hotel about 900 that night.  It was a long day and I was sad that I had to wait another day to meet them but we were exhausted.

Finally on Friday morning we went to their house.  On the drive over there Lonnie asked me if I was nervous.  I wasn't but when we turned onto her street my stomach did do about 10 backflips.  I mean we were really here.  Finally, after a zillion emails, even more texts, and too may skype chats to count I was going to see her in real life!  Crazy.

And, just like I suspected, it was like we get to see each other every day.  :)  If only we did get to see each other every day.  :(

So I know all you want to see is the pictures of our adorable kiddos, right?  Well here ya go!

We went to this awesome zoo where you can pet and feed the animals.  Emily just loved feeding them and squealed with delight every single time.

Blakely was like no way in hell I'm feeding that thing.  I'll just eat the carrot instead.

Gavin was just happy to chill.  That baby is the best.  I'm not even kidding. He just giggles and smiles all.the.time.  Awesome.  But we can all agree that Bridget deserved an easy baby after the honey badger baby, amiright?

Love this one of the girls checking out the lions.  They kept saying RAWR!

The first thing Lonnie said when he saw E is WOW!  I thought Blakely was tall!

Look at those adorable shirts Bridget had made for the girls.  I haven't been able to get B to take it off.

After the girls napped we headed back over to their house to cookout and lets the girls run around and play.  We had beautiful weather and they have the perfect backyard setup.

we weren't excited or anything ;)

E and G had on their Arkan.sas Ra.zorbacks gear that I got for them when we showed up the next day.  Those are some pretty cute HOG fans!!!
We didn't get a pic of the kids in the jammers I got them but I just have to share because OMG CUTENESS.

Saturday was spent playing outside even more and meeting Steve's parents who live across the street.

The plan was to have them watch the kids while we went to the Stee.lers game that night.  I was nervous, I can't lie.  No one besides family members have watched B and only a few of them have put her to bed.  I was nervous until I met Stan and Jeanne.  Y'all.  They are so sweet and you can just see the love they have for Emily and Gavin oozing from their eyeballs.  It is awesome to see.  I immediately felt comfortable and B instantly warmed up to them too.  So to the Steelers game we went!  When we left they were outside playing on the swingset so B didn't care a bit that we were leaving.  WIN!
The game was super fun but the best part was getting to talk with Bridget the whole time.  I don't think we shut up at all.  The people around us were probably so annoyed!  I do love me some football but I am a Patrio.ts fan for life!  But this may have made me come around to the Steel.ers...I even bought a shirt!

It was really a fantastic two days but two days is just not nearly long enough.  There were plenty of "pinch me" moments.  Like when our girls were taking turns going down the slide {50 times}, when I got to snuggle that chunk of a baby G-buddy or when Bridget and I were having cocktails and chatting on her patio {omg}.  All things that we have talked about doing for the longest!  Really I could go on and on...  I wish so much that we could do those things more often.  Thank you to Bridget {AND STEVE!} for opening your home to my family.  We had the best time and I can't wait for the next time.  Blakely is still saying "Em-meees howsh" {Emily's house} every time we get in the car so I guess we will have to come back this weekend?!?!?!

You mean to tell me.....

Tom is not playing today?!?!?!?!

My baby girl is a bit confused that Mr. Brady isn't playing today.  You see, that is all she knows.

We were all a bit sad the Patriots lost but we still rock our gear anyway!
This picture was actually taken 2 weeks ago but we are wearing the same outfits today.  The babe is asleep and will hopefully be staying that way for another hour, so no pics yet.   :)

Happy Sunday!

I'm still here...really, I am!

I have been absent for a good reason!  We took another vacation.  This time to Los Angeles. It was absolutely wonderful and I will be doing a post on it later this week.  For now though it is bullet points...it's all I've got!!!
  • THE birthday is in just over 3 weeks.  I think I may have overextended myself on this one.  I didn't invite many people, just family and close friends, but I still feel like I have a bunch to do.  I'm trying not to stress about it though.  After all, no one cares about the little details except me, right?!?
  • I have had quite a few blog friends celebrate their babes 1st birthday recently.  I just love it!  I remember when we were all pregnant and waiting for our miracles.  Amazing what a difference a year makes.
  • Speaking of babies...mine has turned into a "monster baby".  I feel like she is giving me a taste of what the toddler years are going to be like.  She screams her adorable little head off if she doesn't get what she wants rightthatverysecond.  It is weird because I don't really know what to do.  She is obviously too young for discipline yet she definitely knows what she is doing.  It is just a weird age I guess.  For example, I give her carrots and peas for lunch and she freaks out and throws them all over the floor.  Weird.  So I decide to try strawberries and grapes....she devoured them.  That is just a tiny example of what I am talking about.  Another example, I strap her in the car seat and give her the book that she usually loves to play with and she scream/kicks/has a total meltdown.  I then reach over and hand her the moose and she is happy as a clam.  Cray Cray.
  • Do any of you watch football?  If so, did you watch the game last night?  Talk about crazy...I mean....there really are no words!
  • For all of my Big Bro.ther watchers...IAN WON!?!?!  I liked the kid but seriously...Dan is the best that ever played the game.  Besides Dr. Will...maybe.
  • Blakely's one year appointment is the same day as our appointment for the consultation for our FET.  Full circle or what....
  • Weaning is going pretty smooth so far.  My main worry is that she is getting enough breast milk.  I seem to be producing just as much (which is painful when cutting out feedings!) so I think she is.  I am down to 2 and sometimes 3 feedings a day.  By this weekend I want to be down to only 2...morning and night.
Ok...I am hitting the bed pronto.  Long day tomorrow!

a little bit of this...a little bit of that...

Dudes...I got my blog printed into a book and it freakin' rocks!  I am so pumped.  I started this blog in January of 2011 so I just printed all of that year into one book.  I will definitely be doing this each year.  I was always so worried that I would lose all of this one day.  I try to save each post into a document but I forget a lot of the time.  Since this blog is basically my journal it was really important to me to have a hard copy of it.  I can't even tell you how easy it was and I don't know why it took me so long to do it!

Blakely has been learning new things every single day.  She now says quite a few different words and her new favorite thing is to throw her food on the floor.  I am not the biggest fan of this at all.

I taught her how to hold her first finger up when she is asked "How old is Blakely??".  It took a few days but she has it down now.  So adorable by the way.  I started early because I wanted her to be able to actually do it on her bday.  I need to get a pic of this...  I still can't get her to clap her hands though...been trying that forever!

Lonnie came home from work in the middle of the day yesterday because he was covered in blood from the chest down.  He came home to take a shower and get new scrubs.  He undressed in the garage and left everything out there.  His brand new shoes (which were light gray) are completely red.  Gross.  I tossed everything but the shoes.  I am going to wash them in some oxyclean or something.  We have been together 7 years and he has never ever had to come home in the middle of the day.  It is things like this that stress me about his job.  Getting soaked in someone else's blood?  Not cool....

Blakely went to my mom's on Sunday from about 11 to 630.  I came home and watched football and relaxed most of the day.  Lonnie slept.  It was the ultimate lazy Sunday and I loved every second of it.  I also won my fantasy football game so yay!

I'm not sure if I ever posted any of B's 6 month pics.  I just finally got the cd...I totally procrastinated.  It was weird to look at them because she is so much bigger now and has WAY more hair!  I couldn't even believe how thin her hair was.  She had just learned to sit up in these pics.  Here are a few of my faves.

It was freezing that day.  We tried to do some outside ones but that didn't last too long.

Definitely my favorite one for sure.

This was the last picture taken.  When B gets sleepy she sucks on the back of her hand.  She has done this forever.  I knew the photo shoot was over when she did this while sitting up!  I love this pic...so sweet.

Speaking of pics, I need to schedule her one year pictures.  I think I want to do family pictures also.  I'll have to talk Lonnie into that.

Ok baby is awake from her nap!  Gotta run :)

Weekend Wrap-up...on a Wednesday!

We had a pretty good weekend even though we were all a little sicky.  On Thursday night B woke up SUPER snotty.  I wasn't worried on Friday morning because she seemed to feel fine and didn't have a temperature.  Well Friday afternoon she all of the sudden spiked a fever of 103 and I got worried.  I did not want to wait out the holiday weekend..we did that with the salmonella on Memorial Day and it was awful.  So I called the dr.  Our pedi wasn't there but his partner agreed to see us.  We headed in immediately.  I had just put her down for a nap and had to get her right back up...she wasn't thrilled about this.

Would you even believe that she has strep..AGAIN??  I mean she had it less than a month ago!  Ugh....  Lonnie had a crazy sore throat a few days before so we are assuming he gave it to her.  She is back on antibiotics (different kind).  The good news is that she has felt pretty great the whole time unlike last time when she was whiney whiney mess.

Saturday one of my best friends turned 30.  We had a little get together at a local restaurant to watch the first Razorback football game.  Lonnie went with me and we left B with my mom and Jenni.  I did get her dressed up to cheer on the Hogs.  I also managed to get a few strands of hair into a ponytail and add a bow.  A few of her bloggy friends are sporting this look so we decided to try it out.

I had my mom snap this one right before we left.  Not a great pic but we had to take one in our razorback gear.

We had a great time hanging out with my friends!  The bar was packed because the game was on pay per view.

This is Lonnie trying to be funny and grabbing my boob...such a boy ;)

Then a crazy face picture, of course, because we always do.  Courtney and Jenny (in the back) didn't get the memo apparently.

At halftime we left and went to watch the second half with one of Lonnie's friends that was in town.  His wife is pregnant and so we talked a lot about that and it really made me have baby fever!  Or pregnancy fever?  Either way, you get the idea.  We had a great night out together. It has been a long time since we have done something like that.  Like I don't even remember the last time we have gone out with friends.  We need to do it more.

On Sunday my mom came over to help us with Blakely.  Lonnie was still not feeling great and I was starting to get a sore throat.  So Sunday was a stay in your jammies all day and eat Lucky Ch.arms kind of day around here.  It was really nice.  We actually did the same thing on Monday but Lonnie's mom came instead!  We are more than lucky to have such great help.

Tonight is the first NFL game.  I am super pumped because that means fantasy football starts!  I *think* I have mentioned that I am obsessed before.  Me and my girlfriends play in a league together and we are very very competitive.  Lots of trash talking occurs.  They can talk all they want...I have Aaron Rodgers so it is a done deal ;)

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Just dropping in...

to let you know who we root for in this house :)

Well two thirds of this house anyway....Lonnie could not care any less about NFL football!  But don't worry...I'll be sure to raise my girl right ;)

Happy Super Bowl Sunday y'all!  Hope you have a great one.  I know we will.  We are going to chill with some good friends, enjoy a few adult beverages, and cheer Mr. Brady to the win!  Go Patriots!

Razorbacks, Thanksgiving, and GERMS!

I'm not sure if any of you watch college football.  So if you don't, let me just fill you in on a little something.   The Arkansas Razorbacks are #3 in the country!!!  HOLLA!!!  This is just so frickin' awesome!  Let me fill you in on a little something else.  We play the #1 team in the country on Friday...LSU.  I can't even tell you the excitement across our state right about now.  Hog fans are crazy!  Oh and the #2 team in the country is Alabama.  The top three teams are all in the SEC. So we are ranked third in the country and third in our conference...how weird is that?  Needless to say the game on Friday is HUGE.  If we win then we could go to the national championship game which is in New Orleans.  I very well might drag my two month old daughter there if it happens because, ya know, there is no way I could leave her over night yet.  She might be three months by then...that would be ok, right??

Image taken from Google images

We have Thanksgiving with my dad tonight.  His girlfriend is making the whole shebang.  Turkey, dressing, pies, everything.  We usually have it catered but not this year...I like her.  Not just because she is cooking either.  The fact that she is closer to his age than mine helps A LOT :)  I actually feel bad that I am not making anything.  But, in my defense, I didn't know she was doing this until like a week ago and I have a new baby.  This is a small Thanksgiving.  My dad, his girlfriend, my brother, my dad's brother and his two girls (age 19 and 18) and then my little family of three!  It should be fun.  I am actually looking forward to it.  This might have something to do with the fact that I have been starving myself today in order to chow down tonight.  Oh and I can't wait to put Blake in her Thanksgiving outfit....AND Lonnie says that he will stay with B tonight and let me sleep.  What a fab day!

And last but not least.  I have become a FREAK about germs.  I am totally paranoid about her getting exposed to the flu.  I have used so much antibacterial stuff and washed my hands like crazy.  They are so dry they might bleed soon.  I am worried about taking her to my dad's tonight because I know people will want to hold her.  Makes me nervous even though I will make them scrub their hands to my liking.  It is so hard because I HAVE to get out of the house for my sanity but I feel bad for taking her places.  I am making everyone I know get their flu shot before they keep her.  And I haven't really taken her many places, just to this one breakfast place.  We keep her covered up the whole time too.  I do have a shopping trip planned next week with Sarah but I will keep her covered the whole time and I am prepared to  ask people not to touch her if they try.  Back away from the baby ;)

Any other new moms have this dilemma?  Stay home 24/7 and lose your flippin' mind????

9dp3dt and Super Bowl

Today I am 9dp3dt and I really don’t feel any different.  I mean my boobs are really sore but, like I said in my last post, they have been this way since transfer day.  I keep going back and forth convincing myself that it didn’t work and then that it did.
The things that make me thing that it didn’t work are:
  1. I don’t feel pregnant.   Not that I wold know how it feels...but ya know what I mean...
  2. I feel exactly like I did last time....and it didn’t work then...
  3. I am cramping.  I have been for a couple of days now, which makes me think AF is just trying to show up.  They are not terrible cramps and not all the time...just occasional...
The things that make me think that it did work are:
  1. Google says cramping can be a good thing.....
  2. My boobs are sore and they weren’t last time...maybe they are getting a little bit more sore??
  3. Surely it worked right?  The need to stay positive is overwhelming right now....
So there you have it...a whole bunch of nothing.  I wish something would happen to make me know it worked.  Like I could throw up at the sight of these sausage balls I am about to make.  Then I would KNOW it worked right?  Or I could pass out like they do in the movies...always know they are pregnant then!  Or then maybe I would just think I was crazy and making everything up.  Infertility makes me crazy.....
I had a ginormous breakdown the other night because I was convinced that I wasn’t pregnant.  I stormed off to bed early and cried like a frickin’ child having a tantrum.  Looking back this probably had less to do with symptoms and more to do with the fact that I was snowed into the house, all day, by myself, WITH NO ELECTRICITY!!!!  Not good for a girl on her 2 week wait who is trying to be distracted!!!  I’m pretty sure my husband has decided that I have lost it.  Maybe I have...not really sure at this point....
It is getting harder and harder not to test at home.  I want to know but then I don’t want to have to go through getting a negative result at home and then go through it again on Tuesday.  Also, it would totally ruin my day.  I am having a good day so I think I should just leave it at that :)
My family is having a party for the Super Bowl.  We are going to my grandmother’s house (who will from here on out be referred to as Grand...because that is what we call her and it is weird to say type grandmother).  Not a huge party because my family is not huge...just about 8-9 people.  It should be fun and will for sure take my mind off of my lady parts.
And just for fun here are a few pics of my family...

Grand on the right and my Aunt Jerry on the left (this was at their birthday lunch in December...they have the same birthday but 12 years apart)

My mom on the right (have I told y'all how awesome she is?) and Vickie (she is married to my mom's brother) on the left

My aunt Jenni (my mom's sister, if you can't tell) on the right (she is super awesome as well!) and family friend Casey on the left...she is really more like family than just friend....

And just because it is not really a Super Bowl Sunday without out him....here is a picture of me with my Uncle Robyn (married to Jenni in the above picture).  He passed away in October.  His funeral was the day I got my negative beta results from IVF #2...awesome...I know....

I think he would be for the Packers but I am not sure....I'll have to ask Jenni and then that is who I am rooting for!

Hope y'all have a great Sunday!!!!
