Random things...

It has been one thing after another here lately and I can't seem to find the time to sit down and blog.  Here are a list of random things for your midweek!

  • Blakely is in the "obsessed with bandaids" stage.  You can usually find her with one on each cheek and she will be carrying a princess that is covered in them as well.

  • We had our wine dinner last night and it was super fun.  I love getting dressed up and going out with my husband!  No pictures because it was a mad dash to get ready and get out of the door.  I will say that I was about 6'2" with my shoes on...but still shorter than my Lonnie.  :)
obsessed with these.  may wear them to every holiday party...
  • Lonnie was off last week so we had a lot of family cuddle time.  It was cool and rainy most days so we got to build a fire and watch movies each night.  Blakely watched The Li.ttle Merma.id which she LOVED (we've watched it 3 times now) and Cin.dere.lla which she liked but not as much as Ariel (Ay-dull).  I have waited my whole life to watch movies with my baby girl.  It makes my heart smile.  Lonnie even looked over at me and said "you are so happy right now"...he was right!

  • Since Lonnie was off Blakely just got a whole bunch of Daddy time.  She loves it but probably not as much as he does!  Here are a couple more from the week...

he wore those stickers on his face the whole time we were at breakfast.  and he let her crawl all over him so I could eat.  he is the best.
  • I am getting so pumped up for Christmas.  I have already started working on some Christmas presents for family.  And I am in the process of making the Christmas Countdown list too.  MERRY MERRY!
  • Lonnie and I are having a party this weekend for Sarah and CJ who are getting married in a few weeks.  Once that party is over the Christmas tree is going up!
  • Do your children love to be naked?  I can't even tell you the struggle it is to get B dressed in the mornings.  And the second we get home each day she screams "ME NAKEY" and starts stripping down.  Fun.
  • Aaaaaaaand Lonnie has taught her how to pee outside.  Which she thinks is the coolest thing ever.  I have to say, it is pretty funny and she is darn good at it!  Ha!
this was right before she showed me how she "pee pee out-shide grash!"
  • We had to cancel our family pictures because of the rain last week.  Totally sad about it.  We haven't had family pictures since B was born and I was really looking forward to it because the leaves have been so so pretty this year.  Lonnie isn't off again until mid December so we rescheduled for then.  So, winter family pictures?  I guess so.  Weird.  I need to think of what we are going to wear because our "fall" outfits just aren't going to cut it.
  • In one of my fantasy leagues I am 10-0.  Did you hear that Kalyn?  Undefeated...can't even believe it!
  • I'm off to go pick up my baby girl and take her for ice cream!

  1. Wow, soo much going on!!!! I love that she loves to be naked, Avery would be if we could trust her not to pee in the kitchen. Congrats on the Fantasy football record, amazing! My season isn't going as well 6-4. Boo.
We had our first movie night on Saturday and it makes my heart HAPPY! I love snuggling on the couch and each popcorn with my baby girl! We got her Little Mer.maid for Christmas, so I am pumped about that!!!!
The winter pictures could be cute, fun hats and sweaters? I am a fall picture person too, but you never know, maybe it will be warm enough to dress for fall?
OMG A is obsessed with band aids, but not to the point of having them on her face! That is hilarious! And those are some huge band aids. I do need to stop buying the expensive Dora ones the way A goes through them!

  2. We are obsessed with band aids here too. Taylor tells me she fell in a bush (even if she never left the house) and needs one. But not on the cheeks. Go Blakely.

10-0!! That's amazing. I hope fast Fred Jackson is on that league. Because he's not getting any victories in Buffalo Bills land. HAHAHA!

  3. Band aids? Dare I ask how she got into those to begin with? :) I'm sure Chloe would be obsessed too if she got her hands on them.

Watching movies with my girl is one of my favorite things too. Who knew something so simple could bring us so much joy?

Haha, I can't believe he taught her how to go to the bathroom outside! At this point though, I'd be all for it if it would get C out of diapers! The thing that JJ has taught Chloe (and I'm not proud of this but it is pretty funny) is he will say "ass" and she'll say "hole." Like from Meet the Fockers? Gah! We are horrible parents!

Glad you guys had a lot of family time recently. It's always so nice when you don't have it often.

  4. I remember when Savannah was about B's age, I bought her a package of Band-Aids. She held the box in the car on the way home. When I went to get her out of the car she had about 10 all over herself.

Savannah is VERY into the Disney princess movies too. Her favorites are The Little Mermaid, Cinderella & Beauty and the Beast. We leave for Disney tomorrow!!! I can't hardly contain the excitement!!!

We never got to Fall family pics this year either. Winter is so dead around this area that we will have to hold off until spring Looking forward to your pictures. Hey, maybe you could wear those beautiful booties in your winter pictures They are gorgeous!

  6. Oops.. I thought I had already commenting on this!

Ohhh the nakedness!!! Alidia LOVES being naked and actually seems to hate clothes... well especially hates putting them on. Once they are on she can sometimes forget about them but always prefers naked! ;)

Aww love the Daddy / daughter photos. What a special bond!

Ha! Bandaids! I don't think Alidia has even seen a bandaid before but I am sure she would get like this if she did so I better keep them hidden.

Can't wait to see your xmas countdown for this year! :)
